here is the new stable kernal exploit with homebrew launcher 1.2 for 5.4.0 users :

* prepare your local server
* launch web browser
* launch kernel.html first
* it will exit to home menu
* click on web browser again
* launch HBL.html

make sure you have homebrew_launcher.elf in sd:wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher

success rate is 100% :toot::yayu:

@dimok do you think that you will release a single link version for 5.5.1 ? :)
Yeah I guess I will do that as soon as MN1 makes it official and releases the sources. I had that prepared for HBL and loadiine while ago already. I was just waiting for a proper release and I still am.

So I don't know if I'm stupid or what, but it seems I can't start the game through LoadiineGX2...

I did everything and I get into Loadiine and there's Super Mario 3D World, downloaded ready for loadiine, but I just can't start it. IT just wont start. I was clicking on the icon, clicking A, Start +, everything, it just wont start.

It says to me "downloading cover" and seems like its stuck on it.

Any help?

Sounds like an issue when loading the RPX. The error isnt yet properly output. I wanted to add popup windows for error reporting but I didnt get to it yet. You get the error on the UDP debugger though.

Most likely you have some issue with the RPX. Check your /code path of the game if there is an RPX or if maybe there are even two? It should be only one in there

Switched to the GUI version just yesterday (coming from the good old Loadiine 4.1) but directly noticed that Super Mario 3D World had the long loading times again. I perfected the loading times with the game files (see here) and apart from renaming the folder name with the Title ID I didn't change any files.

Is it possible that missing the meta files causes the slow loading?

noticed that, probably patched out eventually
Don't use nightly builds if you want to it without new bugs.

It seems there are a lot of new users in this thread, probably related to the new 5.5 kernel ?
Just a thing : Please, read the first post !
ALL your questions are already answered, and explained in the first post. Either in the guide, or in the FAQ.
The FAQ already has a lot of answers, it's a good idea to read it instead of asking 50 times the same questions.

The two main question I remember from the past page I've read :

- Why there's no 0.3 link ?
Because there's no official 0.3 release yet. It's only nightly builds (automatic builds after every source change). There's already a link in the first post, in the "Download" section. just click on the download link, and you will get the latest revision automatically.

- Loadiine can't load NA games on EUR console, because wiiu is region locked!
Wrong!
Loadiine is region free and can load other region games (that's already explained on the first post, you just had to read the beginning)

Edit: Ok, my bad, it wasn't explicitly said that it's region free (it is on the wiki, but not on the first post).
I added it to the first section, and to the Faq.

IOSU doesnt work at all atm . Its just tools for it released by smea.. Stay on 5.3.2 . Never upgrade unless you have to. This is true on every console in every community since the dawn of time.
Use this version of the exploit if you are on 5.3.2 :

Hope that answers it..
thanks for the answer.
that beinh said, yeah I've been running loadiine just fine on 5.3.2 since it launched, but I know nintendo will update online in a couple of days to 5.6 or whatever, and I want to keep loadiine while waiting for iosu hack on the right fw. (and I don't want to hunt for a game with the right fw update on it when I could just update to the right fw right now)
(I updated to 5.3.2 when it was online. (to redeem my Zelda WW provided in bundle code, but knew it was thr right fw to stay on)

@GamingAori has a "fsgetsource failed" issue, got a fix?

Yeah, bad paths... Well someone who ripped this did terrible job, i needed to arrange all folders etc... Thanks!!!

Hey man thanks for the reply :)

Do you close app then click Mii Maker to re-enter Loadiine? Or do you go into the browser and run the exploit again to go into Loadiine?

Yepp just click the home button from in-game then "close software" and just re-launch Mii maker no need to go back into the browser. only do so if you encounter a freeze or something like below which was new to me and never happened on gx0.1

?Possible BUG: loadiine GX v0.3?:

I upgraded from Gx0.1 to Gx0.3 and sometimes exiting and going back into Mii maker it just loads the Mii maker app as if the exploit Uninstalled itself. it doesn't happen a lot but it does sometimes. I never had this issue with GX v0.1 which was the version I was currently using when I stated mine never would hang. well mine doesnt hang it launches regular mii maker sometimes. it's not that big of an issue but it is annoying when it happens.

I'm going to keep testing it and see if I can replicate it 100% it happens randomly for me but seems to do it more when I eject my SD card while on the Home menu and reinsert it. and also possibly when loading starfox 0 ( it happened 2 times with this game). but that may be coincidence. I thought it was safe to eject the SD on the wiiu home menu and reinsert it as I've done it with GX 0.1 to transfer new games without having to shutdown the WiiU.

Idk if I may have messed something up when updating to Loadiine GX0.3 all I did though was I copied over the files from the downloaded "www" to my current loadiine folder since I self host.

anyone else experience this with newer loadiine anything higher than GX.01?? not nightly builds as those will have bugs.

how i know the id of costum vc games? for example a costum version of banjo kazooie

Just make your own ;) it has to be 6 characters long. and can be anything. but it must have 01 at the end.

I chose to do mine like so:

[VCxx01]
01 has to be there at the end.

VC =virtual console
xx =title name

[VCBK01] = Virtual console(VC) Banjo kazooie (BK)
