I'm thinking of buying a used Wii U online for the sole purpose of putting Loadiine on it to play backups. It seems like console are MUCH cheaper without the gamepad included. Most of the videos I see the gamepad used in man of the videos that I see of the Loadiine set up process. Is it possible to set up Loadiine with just a wiimote and not a gamepad?

I think you first problem is setting up your network connection without the gamepad.
It's not possible afaik.

Really? Is there no way to set up the network with the wiimote? It's really hard to believe that you NEED the gamepad for something that simple.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but my Gamepad got broken. I had already set up the wi-fi connection and loadiine as bookmark in the web browser. Is there a way I can access the exploit? Everytime I enter the web browser there's the red curtain telling me to press X.

Whatever, I can play my Smash Bros. copy with only my Wiimote.

Loadiine GTX 970 only supports up to 3.5 games, get the Loadiine R9 390 for 8 games
Nah man, The Radeon rx 480 just got announced, and it supports all the VR Wii U games. Thats a must have

Edit: just realized I replied to a super old post. Woops. If I could delete I would, this isnt relevant anymore

I revived the thread, don't worry about it.

To answer your question, I gotta ask, is the gamepad completely broken? No functionality whatsoever? If you could just press X like it squad, you would be about to access loadiine and stay the exploit. I'm not sure if you could navigate loadiine gx2 or the homebrew launcher, though.

I got it working once, and I removed the curtain and loaded up loadiine with no issues thanks to the bookmarks.

However, once restarted the console, I tried to enter the web browser for accessing directly using the Wiimote, but the curtain was there again. I tried again entering, removing the curtain with X and exiting to see if the web browser saved preferences or something like that, then entered directly with no curtain this time, used loadiine, but again red curtain after restarting! It's like if using the exploit put the curtain on.

Now my GamePad doesn't boot anymore, so I can't do anything about it.

You can use the Pro Controller to control the menus on Loadiine GX2.

My gamepad's screen broke. I got a new one.

Wow it wasn't hard at alllllll
I have a 50 dollars income per week. A Gamepad screen costs me around 60 dollars where I live. I haven't been able to skip food enough for getting the new screen. It already costed me a lot to save money for the Wii U.

I hope I can get a new screen in some months.

Well, that's good to know. I don't know about a place around here that sells whole new gamepads. I hope I find one.
