Hacking load games from cd

i want to burn backups i own to discs but do not know what is needed to play them and if needed a custom iso other then 249

you can't... unless your wii is one of the very first ones..
otherwise you need an ODDE or modchip. and thoose things are expensive

Wii's that were available to about Nov/Dec of 2009 are capable of reading backup dvd. Only white Wii will play backup dvd, but not if it was manufactured after the end of 2009. Colored Wii's are not capable of dvd backups.

It depends on what application you are using to determine which IOS is needed to make it work. WiiMC don't even use a cIOS to read backup dvd. Neogamma and usb loaders use IOS249,250.

Why would you trade the speed and reliability of USB loading for disc juggling? The world is moving away from optical discs, you'd do yourself a huge favour by buying a nice HDD instead.
