You forgot to use ROP Multiloader and select Homebrew 4.x...

i also use gw rom patcher 0.6 in wine, i'm not sure if there is anything better i should be using. but it is ok, it works for me.

Same here have had no issues with it on Linux

If there's no "Homebrew 4.x" option and you don't have a DS flashcard, then you have to install sudokuhax and run ROP Multiloader from there:

For PBT yes, but for the original one you need the homebrew ROP code...

There exploit is the same, however, there are different ROP chains, which can load different pieces of software. The ROP chain used by the GW Launcher is different from the one used by the Palantine CFW. Using the wrong chain crashes the console.

Both versions support Yosemite, of course. ETM 1.1 works for other users; ETM 1.2 just got released, so I'm the only one who tested it on OSX.
