Gaming Links Awakening Wind Fish bug?

So I've got to the egg and i dont know if this is a bug or not.

but i cant seem to locate the end, ive gone to the library and read the book that tells you the directions to go.

but for me it says X X UP RIGHT RIGHT UP UP UP.

for the life of me i have tried and tried to figure what direction X X is.

has anyone else had this or could it be a bug

yes as said the book tells me to go X X UP RIGHT RIGHT UP UP UP

but for the life of me i cant figure what X X is ment to be.

maybe its a bug, so i posted to see if anyone else has noticed it.

it tells you X? Hmm that's weird. It should all be directional arrows. Did you try going back to the library and re-reading the book? I'm wondering if it's glitched out which would suck.

Yea ive tried that too, i guess ill have to figure out if its a code or maybe when i was editing memory.

Maybe altered it without knowing.

i think when i was poking memory at the start of the game i may have changed something.

luckily i had a back up save right at the start before i did anything, ive applied all cheats and skipped right to the end and it hasnt messed the book up.

so the codes are fine, must have been me poking about.
