My NANDS are linked.
1. Can i access the Eshop from the Emunand without any problem?
2. Can i safe upgrade my 3DS via SD without screwing anything?
(o3ds RxTools+Cboot+Themehax version 10.7 emu 9.20 sys)

It's weird, i use themehax so i know they are linked because when i tried to change my theme using CHMM in emunand i got the custom theme in my sysnand and the Cboot stoped working.
So i got rid of the theme and tried tinker, installed the cboot again and got rid of the custom theme on the sysnand.

Now i tried out Tinker, it said it was "succesfull" but when i used the RxTools emunand it didn't have any theme, however the sys had the custom theme, so i'm not 100% sure if they are linked.

1st-use luma3ds cfw, rxtools is dead
2nd-Do a system format on sysnand without the sd, as that will unlink the nands

So, i can't do the upgrade if they are linked right?
And about the CFW, what does luma3ds that rxtools doesn't?

If you update while linked you'll update your sysnand too and you'll be out if luck.
Luma3DS over rxtools: patches everything you could want and support basically.

i checked a bit about Luma, it does require arlh9? to be honest i'm a bit scared to change CFW.
Is it tough to change?

Yeah i just read something about unlinking, i didn't know it was so simple lmao.
I have another question for ya, when i format i will lose the upgrade my sysnand is in (9.2)?

No, if formatting NAND could downgrade the firmware, life would have been so much easier.

Also, unless rxtools has different rules, you can just update emuNAND via system settings. Just make sure that you are in emuNAND and make sure that you don't leave system settings without updating, lest you get kicked back to sysnand.

Yes, when you format you will completely downgrade your sysnand back to 1.0.0 FW but you can just restore a backup of it

Why are you lying to this man?

Well i'm not sure about the rules but i read offline upgrade is safer just in case something go wrong

To install the backup just replace the 3ds folder with the backup one right?

Oh god. You really don't know what you're doing.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm not sure where to start - there are a bunch of rules you don't know on how to do this stuff.
