I want to have the latest version to play online.

I might want to use Luma3ds if it's as good as they say but it's not on my priorities right now.

Just update, you aren't linked since you already have different FWs on your sysNAND and emuNAND. CHMM broke Menuhax for me too

I do, i have RxTools on 10.7 and i have been playing before, but i never have upgraded before, so i'm asking just to be safe.

Idk about rxTools for 11.0... Luma for sure can update emuNAND. But regardless.. if you insist on keeping emuNAND, Id suggest unlinking them if you havent already. Its easier to do that than it is to worry about anything.

Ive only ever updated my emuNAND after it was unlinked. Though now im A9LH, updated sysNAND master race. I cant confirm or deny whether its safe to update linked NANDs.

just switch to Luma, open config and set it to show emu in emuNAND, format emuNAND if you are scared, which you shouldn't. and finally just update using system settings if you see Emu

Luma is the best. For sure. If youre worried about playing online with it.. youll need the newest nightly build though. The release on github gives an error.

As said.. just make sure in config of Luma you check the option to show current NAND in settings.. and ensure it says "emu" before the system version before updating.

NO that is not what unlinked means at all. Unlinked means they use two different folders on your SD card, which requires that you format one of them (use a program called TinyFormat to do this, or it could screw up your NNID).

Since he already managed to update his emuNAND before he should be able to just update right now. Likely he unlinked his nands in the past
