If you're looking for it and can't find it, how are we going to find it? It's like going to see a movie with someone and asking them what's going to happen.
How the hell should we know? We're just watching too.
It's just common courtesy not to ask what will happen in a movie, and not to ask if a game has been dumped.

Good point and I understand what you are trying to say, but I believe when someone asks when the game will be dumped, they are not directing the question toward the average user. The question itself is probably for the person or group whom is dumping it. Just like if you wanted to know what happens next in a movie, its obvious that you would only ask someone who has already seen the movie or you thought might have seen the movie.

I might be waiting for the dump but I wouldn't go as far as to ask on a forum, because I know it will eventually be dumped, but you really shouldn't flame someone for curiousity of whats going on. Although if they do constantly post new threads of it, I could see why it would be annoying, but thats why the forums have mods

The groups that dump games aren't public on forums such as this.
Maybe you live in a less annoying place where people don't ask stupid questions all the time. I envy that.

Google includes GBAtemp.

It's easy to go to Hadrian's threads, IGN, or one of the other 500 gaming sites and check.
if the info isn't there, you're not going to find it, suck it up, wait it out.

Its kind of a question I have always had as well, why some (possibly more popular) games take longer to be dumped than the lesser known and usually lower quality games.

I really don't see why every one wants to attack the guy for being curious about the way things work. I mean seriously if you don't want to answer his question or can't why even post?


But all in all everyone will continue to do what they do. People will still ask about game releases and dumps, and other people will go into their topics to attack and flame instead of just ignoring it. It can be a cold and bitter world.

You should write your question differently then, and topic title shouldn't have been line rider 2 if you were asking about game dumps generally, and if you used used this game as an example!!

It doesn't look like that to me, I completely understood his post and what he wanted to know. But I am sure you have seen many posts asking about roms and dumps that your vision and understanding on anything remotely to do with dumps might have been lulled. I can see how any question post with the word "dump" in it could set you off on a rant.

But we have found out that he just wanted to know more about the process of releasing dumps than release date for a specific dump.


I believe we can take this experience and learn from it

No, actually, you didn't catch our point miketh2005....It's irritating to see topics like this for every single game that isn't dumped in a hour of it's release..
You have a topic where you can report the game that hasn't been dumped, you can ask there if somebody maybe has it, it doesn't matter if OP didn't update the topic, you can still post there, and it doesn't mean that other people can't answer you..
There were few (at least two) topics about line rider 2, so this is really unnecessary..You say that we don't visit topics like this if we don't like them, well, it bothers me to see useless topics in "most recent topics" list, or flooded boards with similar topics that doesn't use anybody..It's the same like "which cart should I get" topic..

rm, but the front page IS available at any moment day and night, and that shows you when something has been dumped... so in a way, you DO have the "magazine" available at any point, so... yea, this is all null and void.

As I said, we're not 12 year old boys that, will keep refreshing a page, we might come back 2 weeks later to check and see if it's dumped, and to our suprise, the undumped list hasnt been updated! What we REALLY need is a reliable Undumped list post from one of the mods that will be updated everytime a game is out.

But if you post in a current thread, that bumps it, which brings it to the public eye, and doesn't create another trash topic! Wow! Imagine that.

Have you heard of locks? Maybe THATS why the mods aren't locking this one...

It really isn't that hard.
