Let's be realistic about the pricing

It's going to be the same situation as with the 3DS.
Overpriced, nobody bought it, price reduced, suddenly everyone owns one, consolation... er... Ambassador Program for those who paid extra.

And I've decided to wait until the "NEW Nintendo Switch 2 XL PRO" comes out in 5 years.

The Switch 2 costs $334 in Japan, presumably being sold at a profit. So there is some wiggle room in their current pricing to absorb costs from various countries.

It's being heavily region locked to prevent unofficial imports though. The firmware only displays in Japanese and only connects to Japan's eshop. I'm not sure on physical games that aren't just keys.
