How do I update to that new version without losing my save?
Depends which cart you've got. On the EZ-V if you give the new version exactly the same filename your old version had it should pick up the old save, probably works like that for other carts too (do a save backup first in case I'm wrong or that doesn't work on your cart)

Anyone got this working on M3 CF? I've tried both with and without DLDI and it chokes with the error saying it can't find it, despite the fact previous versions worked just fine.

Absolutely gutted as Lemmings is one of my favourite games of all time.

Edit: Seem to have got it working. Simply copied the lemmingsDS directory contents to the root, and the NDS file etc... Now it seems to work, unpatched.

In each of the folders that contain the levels there is a file called "progress.txt" that specifies which of the levels in that folder you have completed. You have to back up each of those files, then restore each one to the correct folder in the new version.

Personally I cannot make this work on my M3 Lite MicroSD... I have patched it with both DLDI patches available for my cart, tried copying it directly before and after patching, and even using the Game Manager as well...

The odd thing is that what happens to me is that as soon as I enter the LemmingsDS folder in the M3 Menu and scroll down towards the .nds file, the system completely freezes.

I am using firmware .34, m.34a , and have no problem with any other nds file.

IDEAS?

As long as the LemmingsDS folder is in the root of the card, you can put the Lemmings.nds file anywhere you want.

If you make a Lemming a blocker, can you make him start walking again somehow?

Once a blocker always a blocker. Except ... BOOOOMM!

Not true, you can turn a blocker into another type of lemming, if you have any other types available that is.

Really? Hmm.. I am trying to remember this from my Amiga in 1991

Edit: from the wiki...

''Blocker: The lemming will stop at its current position, hold its arms out, and cause each lemming which approaches it to turn around. The lemming will remain a Blocker for the rest of the level, unless the Bomber skill is issued on it or the ground underneath it is somehow removed. If made a Bomber it will continue to act as a Blocker until it blows up. ''

Maybe it's different on this DS port but I'm sure that's how it was on the Amiga version too.

Yes, you have to blow up blockers. You cannot give them another job (unless you dig under them as noted in the wiki quote, but that usually kills them anyway)

Now i see the file but when i execute it I only get two white screens :S I've patched it correctly with DLDI

I'm having exactly the same problem :'(

I'm using Supercard Lite (microSD) with 2GB Sandisk card. I correctly patched with DLDI. Supercard software (latest version) can't see the folders although they are visible in Windows explorer. I created the folders manually (takes long time...), Supercard software could see them, but I got two white screens when launching the game.

Help
