AND Mrs. KeokaLilo & Stitch. It was bad. Overly long, overly boring, the editing is atrocious, and every single change they made from the animated film was bad.
Nani's hot tho![]()
I watched Robocop, the "new" one, I downloaded all of them and got it by accident. It wasn't bad, I mean to the original, sure it wasn't great, but compared to two and three... Second best movie in the franchise IMO.
I also downloaded all Mel Brooks movies, while none of them are really jam packed with hilarity, all of them have at least some lines that are so great it stays with you forever.
Also watched Blues Brothers, as funny as SNL, i.e not funny at all. That fucking movie is two and a half hours long and I had two chuckles throughout. When Carrie Fisher launches a rocket and they just dust the gravel from their suits that was funny and for whatever reason when Dan Akroyd says "Whe are on a mission from God" that cracks me up.

Mel Brooks Productions. I forgot the title of one where the man punches the horse. Even the rest of it was Hilarious. Good choice.Mel Brooks Productions. I forgot the title of one where the man punches the horse. Even the rest of it was Hilarious. Good choice.
Goodfellas - My favorite Scorsese film. The subject matter is very serious, but I found the movie hilarious. The laughs I had from this movie rival comedies. Joe Pesci was a big reason for the laughs, but the whole execution of the movie somehow sets up many scenes to land on a comedic note. It's a very energetic movie thanks to Scorsese's propulsive directing, rich dialogue, and the acting from the male leads, Paul Sorvino, and Lorraine Bracco. The soundtrack is also super loaded. Holy crap, wall to wall amazing music. There were also long takes in this that make this movie ahead of its time because long takes became more common since Birdman. This movie is sometimes put up against The Godfather. Without a doubt, I go with Goodfellas. Revisiting this movie made me realize that Goodfellas is a top 10. Maybe even a top 5. I hold it in a similar regard to Pulp Fiction, a movie I know so well and has become comfort food. Easy 10/10.
. I recently finished the first two games so I decided to watch the movie.
OHHH! I want to rewatch that movie, so wild. That movie epitomized Cannon Films.Ninja III: The Domination
Last time I saw this movie was almost 30 years ago.

Friday the 13th (1980) - Tom Savini's FX and Harry Manfredini's score carry this movie. I don't think it holds up very well compared to John Carpenter's Halloween, which it ripped off, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. I consider it a rough draft of 80s slasher movies. Still good, the positives outweigh the negatives, but it drags and some other things would be improved upon in some of the sequels.
Friday the 13th Part 2 - Slightly better than the first movie, though honestly, I came away from this viewing liking the first one a bit more and now lean on these first 2 movies being neck and neck. Still slow, doesn't have Tom Savini's magic, so the gore isn't as dazzling. But more sleaze with the nudity, a more likable cast of characters, and the debut of adult Jason. I consider it the 2nd rough draft of 80s slasher movies.
Friday the 13th Part 3 - Jason is more fully realized thanks to the introduction of the mask and a stronger display of stunts. The gore is solid, the pacing is better than the previous 2 movies, and there are some funny moments. The cast is weaker than the 2nd movie, the final girl is okay, but in my current revisiting of the franchise, I find Ginny from Part 2 as the best final girl in the series. That could change. The music still slaps, and a funny addition was the disco-sounding song in the opening credits, which also was used briefly in the movie. This is one of the better sequels, though not on the upper echelon. More in the middle, but still some high praise for it.
Blow Out - Fantastic Brian De Palma movie with one of John Travolta's best performances. This was during the period where he was taking a lot of inspiration (ripping off) from Alfred Hitchcock. There are also some Giallo vibes to this and now after watching this, I believe it had to have inspired Ti West when he did MaXXXine. I figured that movie owed itself to De Palma. Having already seen Dressed to Kill and Body Double, I'm now more sure De Palma was an inspiration. I'm also more sure that De Palma was on a fiery run in the 70s and 80s. The movie does get a little silly and the score might be a mixed bag, but the good parts of this movie are fucking awesome. 9/10
