Gaming Language of backward compatible XBOX360 games

Is there some way to change the language of Xbox 360 games?
Unfortunately they're showing in German for me, even when my Xbox One is set up to English.
I am getting the idea that the only way is to fake your address and "move" your Xbox Live account to another region, e.g. Ireland. Kind of a shitty solution TBH.
I wanted to confirm if there isn't any simpler way to change the language.

PS: My gut tells me that @DinohScene should know about this.

A thing you can do is get a VPN or set up a proxy which relocates itself to the UK or Ireland or the US or whatever English speaking country.
The problem with the online connections on consoles and Multi language games is that they pick the language based on your IP.
IE, if you're in Germany or in a German speaking country, they auto pick German.
This also includes the 360 dash, at least part of it.

I find it HIGHLY annoying as well.

Another thing is getting NTSC games (1 language only usually)
Games are region free, however some DLC might be region locked.

On a side note: this is also a reason for me to hack consoles ;p
To get rid of that disgusting practice of IP locating.
Fuck off, I do not want to be tracked!

Oh hell, this is really fucking annoying.
Why the hell do they make it so difficult. I just want to use the official way, pay for the damn thing, get it in the damn language I like.
The hell I have to play e.g. Deus Ex HR with horrible lipsync in the (at least I consider it so) poorly acted German dub, instead of the original English. Damn them.

I know the pain of it.
It is fucking ridiculous.
Games should be in English like they where 15-20 years ago.
Hell, I learned English due to games.

360 has it as well, not sure about PS3 tho.
One has it, PS4 prolly as well.
You could try ad take the console completely offline.
Maybe that will boot it in English.

Social media and easier access to the web is to blame for that.
Along with the smartphone revolution.
Illiterate fools are crawling the web and they need translations for everything.
