reference Language Codes

Traditional Chinese:
zh-tw Chinese (Taiwan)
zh-hk Chinese (Hong Kong SAR)

Simplified Chinese:
zh-cn Chinese (PRC)
zh-sg Chinese (Singapore)
Thanks. We'll probably stick with the current ones then as they seem correct and are the ones that WiiTDB uses too. If there is an objection, let us know

The Configurator now has a feature that will convert a true type font into the unifont.dat format. I'm not sure that will look any better, but it's worth a try.

Thank you and your partners for your greatest work - cfg loader!
And, I do give a try, then the conclusion.
Maybe the weird looking due to font size limitation (that 16 or so) ?Why this? Memory limitation?

The font is used in the console and the console lines are 16 pixels high. This limitation cannot be broken.

Brazilian Portuguese Translation (v53):

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V8ZRBCQY
Instructions (for v53):

1- Copy the PT_BR.lang file into SDCARD:/usb-loader/Languages folder;
2- Open the SDCARD:/usb-loader/config.txt file and insert the next line:
translation = PT_BR

3- Done!

Now you can enjoy your USB-Loader CFG in portuguese!

*********************
(Portuguese)
Instruções de como instalar (versão 53)

1- Copie o arquivo PT_BR.lang para a pasta SDCARD:/usb-loader/Languages ;
2- Abra o arquivo de configuração SDCARD:/usb-loader/config.txt e adicione a seguinte linha:
translation = PT_BR

3- Pronto!!!

Agora é só curtir o USB-Loader CFG em português!

To the Asian language translators:

Seeing as the loading of unifont.dat is now controllable via option, please include instructions to add "load_unifont = 1" to config.txt within your translation posts that I link to in the first post.

Hi Dr. Clipper,
I found there are some translation mistakes in kavid's simplified Chinese lang, and i can't download the Happycipher's version at that time.
So i made a new translation carefully by myself. And i think maybe this version is much more friendly for chinese players.

[Latest Version]
Simplified Chinese language file for v58b
Simplified Chinese language file for v57b8
Simplified Chinese language file for v56b
Simplified Chinese language file for R54 (Same as v54b3)
Simplified Chinese language file for v54b2
Simplified Chinese language file for R53
You can also download it here~

So there are now 3 different ZH_CN translations: kavid, clamis and happycipher
Which one is best?
I ask so I can decide which one to include in the full package when it's ready...

and another thing, I noticed that some ZH_CN translations use a different : character, which looks smaller than standard : when looking at it in windows but 2 times bigger on Wii. What is the correct look of it? Is it supposed to be 2x bigger? Or is the font I'm using wrong? In which case, maybe we should stick to standard :

IT.lang missing entries for 54b2

msgid "Ocarina HookType:"
msgstr "Aggancio Ocarina:"

msgid "Ocarina: Too many codes"
msgstr "Ocarina: Troppi codici"

msgid "Write Playlog:"
msgstr "Scrivi Log Giocate"

Thanks to Oggzee, Usptactical, Gannon and Dr.Clipper

Dear oggzee:
There are some full shape '?' being used in my translation. It's right that you found it 2x bigger on Wii, because of they using 2 bytes to be stored like other Chinese characters. In China we use all punctuations in full shape type. But i don't think it's hard to be accepted if we change them to half shape ':'.
So i can change all punctuations to standard in next translation if you think it's necessary.

I don't know if it is necessary, that's why I ask

It's just an observation.
So if you think that the full shape : looks correct then leave it as is.

To all translators:
please don't use rapidshare, I have great trouble getting files from there...
