Yeah, it's difficult because they need to create a driver for the battery from scratch. (I could be wrong and mixing it up with the Sleep mode fix :/ )

AFAIK Horizon does some really weird stuff with the battery, so it's just a matter of research and time. I'm sure it'll be implemented at some point, just takes time.

There are problems with Horizon... we're here to fix their mess (Ninty) LOL. Nintendo made lots of mistakes with the Switch, no internet browser, no Youtube, no save-data backup, bootrom exploit, joy-con sync issues, etc.

Yeah, the no internet browser is still making my head spin, not to mention almost every other device in existence has access to YouTube.

Well both the browser and YouTube were entry points on the Wii u and 3ds. And look how fast the switch homebrew scene exploded. It makes sense that it doesn't have it yet.

I thought the 3DS had those both put in by Nintendo? I never owned a wii but I swear I remember browsing the net on my unhacked 3DS...

Nintendo was trying not to get their latest console hacked lol, they tried but that didn't stop it from happening.

True, now that Nintendo is making a revision called "Mariko" and adding KASLR, it is going to be extremely difficult to hack.

Oh ya the tegra exploit is all on them. One of the main reasons Nintendo went out of house was because of all the exploits that were made by nintendo. They figured someone more experienced could help them. It didnt.

Ah, I see. I didn't get my 3DS till late in the life cycle so I didn't know. Man, webbrowser exploits are the real killers nowadays, lol.

It has been confirmed by Scires saying there is evidence from the 5.0 update of a new revision model. Also, you can check on the switchbrew website.

(Nintendo does not make announcements of a new revision of the Switch's motherboard)
