I know this probably sounds very stupid, but I was just wondering:
Is it safe to label discs with a permanent marker for use with the NeoGamma loader (on the label side obviously)?
I mean, will the marker end up smudging off inside the wii and cause damage?

Hello Shine Star
To answer Your question : Yes it's safe to use a permanent marker on Your discs. I use a sharpie and never had any problems.

I do it all the time, make sure it's a permanent marker and the ink has dried before putting it in the Wii

Sharpies are fine.

Stay away from those cheapo CD/DVD label maker kits you see in the stores though. A bud of mine makes all these fancy labels for his 360 games and they are all peeling and messed up after just a few months. Worse thing is unless you are superhuman, it's impossible to stick the labels on exactly centered, so when the discs spin up, they wobble. Very bad for your drive.

I use a Sharpie for backups for friends, my own discs are the printable variety. Get disc images from www.console-covers.com and stick in my Canon ip4600, print directly to the disc with no loose label to worry about.
