Taking a nap with their mother...

We cut the sides off of two boxes and taped them together so the kittens would have more room to move around, since they're figuring out how to walk now (they still fall over every few minutes).

The way the kids sleep is always 'kawaii'. Did you take your pictures during daytime? Please don't use flash or a very bright light on them...

Not sure if you already have the kittens' adoptions set up, but I would highly recommend not letting them go as soon as they wean. It's best to let them stay with the mom and their siblings for at least a few more weeks after they wean, until they're at least 8 weeks old, before sending them to new homes, so the kittens will be more confident when they arrive at their new homes, plus they will have enough time to learn 'How to be a cat 101' properly from their mom. When I first adopted mine years ago, the family of the mother insisted that I should wait until he's at least 8 weeks old before I took him home, and I thank them for that decision even today.

I used flash for that pic since it was raining today, I'll just use the room's light if it seems to bother them.

I plan to hold onto them for a bit, yeah. The last litter we had (few years back), we let them go a few days after they all showed they'd prefer solid food and could all use the litter box (about 7 weeks, she had a litter of 7 so they grew a little slowly), but we realized that was too soon only afterwards when the momma' started walking around, meowing out for them when they were gone... broke my fucking heart, I wouldn't be able to take that again.

Oh, god. This reminds me of the mom of my cat. When I was there to pick up the 8-week-old kitten, the guy had to hold and hug the mother close to his chest, and told me to block her view while I was loading her kitten into my carrier, because she had been really upset previously when she saw the other families took her other kittens. :( We're such horrible people, aren't we...

The woman got a kitten at the beginning of the summer. Now that she went off to school, i joke with her about him growing onto a full size cat before she gets back. She doesnt like that haha

Congratulations! Kittens are awesome. When I used to live in the country our cat would have them every year, they were so cute.
