The only question now is whether I should get a Kingston or Sandisk?
They can both be good brands, it depends on your chosen capacity as to which is better.

I've no expirence with Sandisk, but my 2GB Kingston microSD (SD-C02G, Japan) runs PoR fine while my 2GB Apacer microSD would lockup at the save points in the game (it still runs ~98% of all other games).

I'd recommend a Japanese made 2GB Kingston microSD (formated to FAT32), just because I know it works for me.

There's a list of M3 Simply compatible (and not so compatible) microSDs here http://m3wiki.com/index.php/Media_Card/M3_Simply look for the cards that are reported as running PoR without errors.

They're the same if you compare like for like (ie similar speed ratings).

I have a 2Gb Sandisk (Taiwan). I have NO issues with slowdown with any games. I have NO issues playing Castlevania POR. I have NO issues with d/l play or anything WiFi.

In fact, my 2Gb "made in Taiwan" Sandisk microSD is actually FASTER than my 2Gb (made in Japan) Kingston card.

As long as you DON'T buy from Ebay (and then double check the serial numbers to ensure you don't get a fake), you'll be fine whatever you buy.

All this stuff about certain countries making the SAME identical product but being inexplicably faster than others should be taken with a LARGE pinch of salt imo
