not much to add but appreciate the suggestions, thx alot.

by play them in order do you mean release order or game timeline order? i will prolly stick to release order, i played a few min of BBS and the graphics were amazing so i thought about skipping ahead to it.

kingdom hearts has one of the best soundtracks ever, so good.

im currently playing through KH1 on Ps2, first KH i've played and i'm really liking it. should i play games in release order and does it not really matter? i'd like to play birth by sleep next, but i dont know if i should skip it since it's the last one released and may have spoilers. should i play the series in order or does it not matter? thanks.

For story wise, like canon, KH1 > KH2 > BBS. But BBS is a prequel to KH1 so you could also go BBS > KH1 > KH2. Though the secret ending in BBS might give away some big spoilers.

As for 358/2 Days and Re: Coded. They're not important to the story, just fanservice. They don't really add any "crucial" things to the story where if you don't play them, you'll be lost. So don't worry about that. Though people say Chain of Memories is crucial to play, I disagree.

That is not completely true.. Re:CoM is somewhat important to the story.. If you play KH1 THEN KH2 You'll be WTF!? at several points in the beginning of the game.. (Sora inside the {Spoiler} anyone?) Which are huge spoiler's I shall not reveal here.

Uh what isn't true? My opinion of me saying CoM isn't crucial to play?

Opinions? On the internet? ABOUT KINGDOM HEARTS, NO LESS?

Nah I kid, CoM being important to the timeline is debatable. It just introduces the Organization and why some members aren't there, and why Sora was sleeping for a year. Among other unimportant stuff. I enjoyed CoM, but it seems a lot of people didn't.

Well this game is trolling me, just started fighting:

Cerberus, i can't seem to use my licenses anymore in battle >.>, and apparently people have cloud in this battle, i don't >.>, cerberus is destroying my team

Don't get all the hate for this game (or Days), but whatever...

I played both KH & KH2, and I actually enjoyed Days more. This game is definitely a bit disappointing in terms of presentation, since it drags you through the same old worlds, but man, they really came up with some cool gameplay elements. I would almost say h.a.n.d. has a better grasp on how to make a fun KH than the main team. In spite of being stuck in neutral when it comes to story, they came up with some great stuff here.

But hey, haters gonna hate.

Don't get me wrong, Re:CoM is 90% filler if any.. :/

The ending had some crucial points to KH2, but that's about it. All other 12 floors are filler.. the cutscenes (FMV) are canon.. so yeah..
Re:CoM could be skipped.. but you'll be a tad bit lost with the beginning of KH2..

Maybe someone can tell me, how the bloody fuck do you use potions?

Equip the potion command in a free slot and use it from there (X button)
Or, when you're off battle, you can just go to the menu and go to the first option, (forgot what it was called) and press A, go to the item, and then press Yl

Slow+Round Blitz -->Cure, playing on standard diff atm, no need for pots yet.

Hey! You're Canadian! You're not allowed to curse like us! Honestly...

But I was about to ask the same thing... Not that it matters since the game is far too generous with those health-restoring green balls, but it's nice to know...

How do you get a max overclock?? O.o

challenge: defeat 5 enemies at MAX overclock!
Just beat enemies and blocks, til the bar above health says MAX, then defeat 5 enemies.

Hoho. This game is quite good XD Just downloaded it(yes, I am a OFFICIAL PIRATE), it's really fun and I finally see Mickey Mouse appear in KH because 352/8 days is quite dull for me(imo)

yeahhhh this game is much better then 358 days !

Things I liked compared to 358/2

A lot more interaction with people. You barely had any in 358/2 besides with other organization members.
The matrix system. It adds newer concepts to gameplay.
The deck skills. Provides nice and speedy combos.
More cut scenes.
Jumping is a bit easier.
When you die at a boss with multiple stages you don't have to go back to the first one.
More Disney characters are introduced.

Things I don't like compared to 358/2

The new dialogue system. Maybe it will take some time to get used to but for now, I'm not a huge fan.
Unable to save any time you want.
The story. Though I'm only 2 hours in, it's not too compelling. I believe one of the reviews gave it a 3/5 saying it's the most skip worthy title in the entire series.

The bolded part. I agree with it. I don't like the dialouge system now. It feels less like RPG to me sometimes. But that's just me.
