no u simply have to have the psplink.prx, I don't think u have to boot via usb...

This is simply not true on my psp when I enable any prx's I cant get past the psp splash screen, but when I do nothing on the OE isofs setting it gets to the black screen. Im on 5.50 Gen D3 on psp phat.
