PSP games aren't region locked ever. Only PSP vids are region lock afaik.

Since Yoshi left -GEN- no more CFW updates. so its going to be a pain, he was the one who made a program that let us play games without updating our CFW

but i gonna wit till some1 releases a patch ^^

i dont know why everyone thinks the firmware will die because one guy left... i mean there has to be at least a few people that know how to hack the psp as good or better than him, he is not the only one, someone else will come along

He wasn't the only one, Dark_Alex left as well. And Alex was the one who started it with M33 and OE, I believe.

No PSP games are region locked, atleast the massive majority isnt (There might be a few of that require peripherals or something that might be locked).

you fellas keep saying you will wait for the Engrish version but that doesnt change the fact that it wont work on any of the current CFW so unless I missed something I find it hard to see the point in waiting xD

nobody locks PSP games. I have a Japanese PSP and it still dont work. How do you explain that?

To the poster above me : no, you need the UMD. Otherwise there wouldn't be at least four (maybe more now) people working on separate patches.

It doesn't work in the lastest custom gen firmware, trust me, I've tried it, it just loads the psp logo and goes 2 a black screen.

I tried these:-

1) Download the untouched ISO from caravan site and transfer to PSP - Didn't work.
2) Patch with the EBOOT.BIN provided in the same post - Didn't work.
3) Try different driver modes (including the UMD required mode with some random UMD, pretty useless but you never know..) with both patched/unpatched versions - Didn't work.
4) Disabled all plugins - Didn't work.
5) Used the Yoshi's Famous Decrypter - Didn't work.

All this on 5.50 Gen-D3 *Final* release....
Maybe it works on 5.50 Gen-D2? lolz
