For those that are thinking of upgrading from M33 to GEN, the major difference (I think) between the two firmware is the 1.50 kernel support, which GEN firmware is lacking. That means that homebrew and emulators that require the kernel won't run on GEN.


Also, thanks for keeping this thread updated, shadowwarrior. Really looking forward to the results.

I Hope this comes out before tomorrow, because I'll probably die in my sleep if it doesnt (from excitement). They might have to make a documentary about me called Death by Birth by Sleep (just trying to add humor during these hard times that we pirates are all facing lol.)

Heads up: This game is most likely... *BLAH* without any knowledge of the Japanese language.

You'd probably end up making it through the game, but will not be able to understand any of the story, customizations, etc.

People are probably going to post translations of items and menus though.

100% agreed. the only way to know what they say is to learn japanese
