And by the way, Kinect is not looking so great at the moment, but it's a lot more than an Eye Toy, the Eye Toy does what my old 1997 web cam does, makes bubbles and you can pop them. The Kinect has the ability to animate figures over yourself, and control in game scenes with the flick of your wrist. It's not that great, but it's not like the Eye Toy.

Although I can understand that some may say that the move controller is similar to the Wii controller and the navigation controller to the nunchuck.
MrDiesel said:The Playstation Move a copy of the Wii? Yeah, sure.
First of all, it uses totally different techniques. The Wii uses IR tracking, where the PS3 uses color tracking of the bulb (?).

Except what Wii does isn't original either. It's something Arcades did way, WAY before. It just a combination of already existing technologies on a console. And Kinect have the same concept of the PS Eye, which was there SINCE Ps2.arpeejajo said:PS Move is practically a direct copy of the Wii. You guys need to stop being blind by your fanboyism and see there's no problem on using things that already exist on the market and make them better. It only benefits us, users. Competition on this market make things interesting for consumers, who have a lot of options to choose.

Which was there SINCE DreamEye.

People often forget that the uneducated, product-buying masses make up most of the market. Doesn't matter if it is a shit product, if they advertise well and convince those who know nothing about gaming that it is a shiny, new, popular, viable product, it will still sell well. The holiday season always causes a flurry of people buying things they know nothing about for other people.yuyuyup said:I am not disparaging the Kinect when I say, what the fuck do industry analysts know ?
