KH:BBS Might not be released on PSN

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep quietly prepares to invade the stalls of the Japanese distributors. Whereas its exit is imminent, a rumour the bad one forecasts for the users of PSP go makes surface via Twitter.

Magunus, a user of the service would have, while taking part in a Japanese event, learned that the title of Square-Enix would not be available on PlayStation Store because of preoccupations with a licence. The concern would come from Disney, which is strict with regard to the royalties for the numerical distribution.

Without official confirmation, it is difficult to grant credit to this growing rumour, several titles of Disney already passed by the dematerialization and it would be astonishing that a title as awaited as Kingdom Hearts can not be distributed on PlayStation Store.

If such were the case, it would be a new hard blow for the PSP Go, like for the users having made the choice of the numerical whole. We remain of course with the mounting to inform you as soon as new information will be available.

Since usually you'll see a big spike in system sales when titles like these are released, it'll be hilarious to see PSP-3000 sales skyrocket and PSP Go sales falll even lower than ever.

Sounds like a good excuse for the PSP Go to get CFW. When PSP Go gets CFW, I'm definitely going to pick one up.

To get back on topic, that sucks for PSP Go owners if there's no CFW by the release. This game should be one of the PSP's best games.

That's why I call the Go the PSPfail, because if you sold your K series for it expecting new games to be compatable for it, you just failed hard.

I'm sure the PSP Go will be cracked sooner or later once this game is released. After all, they didn't bother integrating the battery into the motherboard (IIRC, it was just taped in).
