I am trying to play KH 358/2 on my m3 real with M3 Sakura 1.42

It worked fine the first time but after that I encountred 2 blank screens and my SD card went corrupted along with all my save games (forgot to backup)
Now I have to restart all my games -.-

I am not sure if its really the game or something else.

Also I recently also got white screen when trying to play it and had to erase the save and the game to get it to work again.

This is a clean rom btw.

Did you manually hex edit it?
Its clean. (Not patched/hex edited)

It can run clean on v4.5Beta game engine and up (sakura 1.42). and it does run fine for now.

But appearently the auto-fix has some bugs.
I think the following things are what that triggered it:
  • Deleting the .sav file and reloading the game after running it some time.
  • Not saving after running it for the first time.
Those 2 scenerios seem to trigger this issue.

Try hex editting the ROM. It won't mess up your game unless you screw up (Which shouldn't happen since it's really easy to hex edit Days).

I'm playing a hex edited ROM, and I haven't encountered any problems.

bro try to hax it, it fixed some bugs for me.
It won't corrupt the file If you will, worth a shot isn't it?
Bugs, what kind of bugs?

Im still wondering why did it happen is it a bug in the automatic fix for it or my SD card/m3 card just failed at that moment...

i need to try a clean version because the hex edit one is not working
You probably just hexed it wrong.
They both work for me, Although i tend to use clean roms since i trust the M3 team to make their fixes correctly and also their fixes might fix M3 specific issues... Apperently this time this fix is a quite screwy...
But go ahead. Just make sure your firmware is v4.5Beta Touchpod or v1.42 Sakura.

MAKE A BACKUP OF EVERYTHING!!!

And avoid the following:
  • Deleting the .sav file and reloading the game after running it some time.
  • Not saving after running it for the first time.
This incident just made me lose my fate that i had in sakura to not spontanuesly self-destruct my SD card (At least on NDS roms, not homebrew), It made me even afraid to start any game, especielly Kingdom Hearts

In fear that it may give me those 2 black screens of death and corrupt my SD.
Now im taking backups from time to time so i wont lose all of my progress again -.-
