I'm currently following a guide for RedNAND and I am finally getting to the part where you get into Cakes:

-Open CakesFW (This can sometimes take a few tries)
-Go to "Select Patches"
-Activate the "Enable EmuNAND" and "Disable Signature Checks" patches, then press Start to continue



And...im getting some type of April Fools thing... KEKSFW? I dont get it... so now I can't get passed this part.. am i missing something here?

Use the version just before the one you're using: You downloaded the April Fools build.

But in any case, that version should work fine too: Just "Press A to brick your console" and it will continue on like normal.

Do I need to do the steps before it again? Like... erasing everything from SD? Or can I just overwrite this current Cakes file I have?

Delete your current SD:/cakes/ folder and set up the older version. That should do it just fine.
