just made meself a plug for lameboy wooh ;D

ahah now no need to go to all the folders just start from boot ;D

EDIT; Anyone know where to get pictures that would fit on the scds2 menu ?

I quickly whipped up some icons using the default DSTWO ones and the emulator ROM icons. They aren't great, but they'll do until someone better whips up some.
Plugin pack

just saw this at the scds2 manual (recently added)

DSTWO Customize Desktop
It’s very easy. Just copy the homebrew main program (*.nds) the _dstwoplug folder. In addition to some homebrew, there is a folder outside the main program (such as moonshell), copy the folder to the root directory of MicroSD card.

Want to make a look good icon?
1. Make a 16-bit 40X42 bmp picture, name with the same homemade software. Such as homebrew.nds need a picture file name homebrew.bmp.
2. Create a *.txt text file and then enter the following text, save the txt file and then rename the *.txt file to *.ini. Such as homebrew.nds need a *.ini file name homebrew.ini.

[Plug setting]
Icon = fat1: / _dstwoplug /homebrew software name.bmp
Name = homebrew software name
3. Finally to copy the *.bmp file and *.ini files to the _dstwoplug folder, restart the "DSTWO Desktop" you can see the new icon added to the list

Now anyone should be able to make their own icons

so,if I understand wat you mean is this plugin what your talking about is just an icon, placed in the DSTWO menu like the standard icons as gba emulator, moonshell,ds games etc.
thats great. Because I can delete the 2 ''slot 2'' icons, cause i don't have one on my dsi,and put some self made homebrew icons on that place.
thats really awesome.
making your own menu

I *thought* you could probably do that!

(don't have my DSTwo yet) That's a pretty good feature, it makes up for it not being able to use Bliss's Triple Loader.

I'd really like to use your icons. Can these be posted on filetrip also?
Uh, sure. I'll upload them to filetrip in a sec.

Edit:
Here. I made it into a plugin pack so I wouldn't have to upload them all seperately.

Heehee - I've just used a HEX editor and 'hacked' lmp-ng (Homebrew MP3 player) so that the 'skin' path ('/lmp-ng/skins/') is now '/_dstwoplug/' . You can find it Here

To install: just unzip & copy all 4 files (yes there are 4-files) into the '/dstwoplug/' folder

I've used a 'black' skin for the default skin (because I have a Black DSi) - if you want a different one you can one from this site and copy it to '/_dstwoplug' folder, then choose it from within the program

[note: The 'lmp-ng.zip' is the default skin file, so if you want another skin to be the 'default' - just rename it & replace it]

And before anyone says - 'But Moonshell can play Mp3s anyway', this is just a quick way to get playing MP3

I think 'DilDoe.org' are awesome.

I HAVE got rid of those slot-2 plugins ('cos I have a DSi) - only problem is that it seems that if you have less than 5 plugins it seems you get a '?' icon come up

So what I've done is added 'Lameboy', 'TextDS' and now 'lmp-ng' to pad it out,
But for some reason I tried the 'NesDS' and 'SnesEmu' & I couldn't get them to work (Maybe I didn't set them up right or something)

At least I can now read Text, Play MP3, play Gameboy/Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance and NDS games all from the front menu - & use Moonshell mainly for Movies & Pictures

Anyone else had problems with the DSOrganize plugin? When I launch it from the menu I just get a blank screen (using DSOrganize party release).

"Party Release" ??? what version is that ??

I personally don't use DSOrganise (since v2.3 IIRC) since I didn't like the extra functions that I knew I would never use (like the database & browser functions)

I've just looked @ dragonminded page - & the latest (last??) is 3.2 - is that the one you're talking about

3.2 supposedly corrupts your SD card, the previous version (3.1) is known as the 'birthday release' (I got confused and called it party, lol).
