Your psp is fully hackable to my knowledge, so you can put what you want on there, but

you have a some choices to make depending on what you want, preferably what CFW you want.

What do you want on it exactly?

Just follow the How to softmod your PSP sticky. Since you have a fully hackable 200x (check with PSPIdent as described in that sticky how to identify your mobo) and you're new i suggest that you update all the way to 5.50 Prometheus-4

For a noob user it's the simplest way to accomplish all those things with minimal fuss.

Whatever the folks around here tell you, buy a Pandora battery. well worth the $7-8...
Or, you can get a battery, and install CFW on the PSP and convert the battery into a Pandora so if it screws itself up, you can restore it with minimal fuss.

Why would you bother ruining a good battery?

I have one of these: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/pandora-servi...0-1800mah-22349

Works excellent in both modes.

Why bother? Because not everyone can buy online.

Turning a battery into a jigkick DOES NOT ruin it. Not only can you convert it back to normal (even the OP due to his Vader PSP being a TA-085v1), but you can use a jigkick for normal operations provided you flash multi-ipl to your memstick.

He's softmodding, you're hardmodding. I have 2 Original batteries softmodded to Jigkicks using OSPBT....they can be reverted any time i need without messing up the case.

Softmodding a battery is fine if you can do it but you can't if you don't have access to CFW in the first place....
I'd agree though that Hardmodding a battery whilst sometimes reversible is a waste of resources and pretty pointless given the prices....

He didn't say he didn't have any friends with CFW'd PSP's though...

And i return to my previous statement that Hardmodding a battery whilst sometimes reversible is a waste of resources and pretty pointless given the prices....

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
