Gaming Just bought PS3... How do I find firmware version?

The title says it all really, just managed to get a ps3 and I want to know if it's jailbreakable.

go to Settings -> System Settings -> System Information

And when you update to 3.41 you have to do it via a USB stick not online else you wont be "fully jailbreakeable".

Updated to 3.41 and ordered a Arduino Mega Cause I can reuse it when I update for PSN.

Except that there's no way to downgrade the firmware, and there's no way to hack anything past 3.41...

So if you upgrade you're stuck, no matter what board you buy.

You guys really need to read the stickies in the appropriate sections, and NOT bump a nearly 2 year old thread.

A PS3 jailbreak is simply not possible on any firmware beyond 3.55 at this point; Sony patched things up, and hackers haven't found any ways around it yet. So you're stuck unless you buy a new PS3 with firmare 3.55 or below.
