So, as the title said, I just got a new 2012 red 3ds off ebay for 152 bucks. Not bad imo. As far as i'm aware of 2012 3ds' are 4.5 firmware and below. i bought it so i can use gateway because my current ds is on the latest update. The thing i'm worried about is if the new ds i'm getting will update automatically without my knowledge. is that possible, and if so is there a way to disable it? because i don't want to order a new 3ds and gateway just so it f***s ups and i won't be able to use it. Also, how many games can one micro sd can hold o the gateway, like....is there a certain limit you cant o past for it? I've used regular ds flash carts like the DStwo but i haven't tried the gateway or any 3DS carts. I would just like to know all the information so i don't f*** it up.
you literally cant update your 3ds without internet, unless you put in an official nintendo cartridge that contains an update
