Hardware Just Backlight, no sound

Hi there,

first off all, I am super new to repairing a nintendo switch, just repaired some PS4´s.

I bought a broken switch. There was a broken pin in the usb c port, therefore I extracted it and put a new one in.
When measuring (not sure what this pin is called) I measure 15V. Batterie now also gives 4,1V out.

When trying to start the console only the backlight starts up. Tried booting into recovery mode, but is not working.

Weirdly enough, when plugging it into a docking station the dock does not light up the green light.

Checked shorts on condensators around the m92t36 chip. None.
Checked for shorts around the IC chip 8316 and found one shorted.

Any ideas or tipps how to progress further?

Maybe fix the shorted capacitor first?
But there is also a chance that you're measureing the short in the 8316 itself.
Just remove the capacitor and measure the pads.
