I was thinking. The favorites folder in the root is pretty nice...
But...
Is there a way to add more Links/Shortcuts/Icons in the root?
Like Putting a Moonshell link into the root right under the favorites folder?

Another question:

Which Moonshell should I have?
Currently I have the normal Moonshell 2.10 Stable.
But I saw AceKard had a own moonshell ("Moonshell for AceKard").
Is there a difference?

Thanks anyway,
Drago

As far as I know, there is no way to add more shortcuts.

2.10 stable is OK.

The difference is just a softreset file, I think, and it may be the old version of MoonShell.

This may be a nooby question but.. how exactly do you add stuff to favourites in Wood?

I've tried like every button but nothing works o_O

It's not a necessity, but it would be cool having my 3 favourite games/apps to access quickly or something.

Copy the game you want, paste it in favourites. No, you're not really copying it, it's just how Wood makes shortcuts.

Copy the game
Paste it to the favorites

misctools don't go in moonshell. They're files that are used in win(for example, dpg converter)

Sorry for reviving a slightly old *thingy*. I also had a quick question about moonshell 2.10 normal, as I have an AK2i, and moonshell 2.10 tends to freeze quite a bit? I did a forum search and it didn't return many relevant results. Will using other versions help this or is this some known error? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

CannonFoddr likes to use MoonShell on his Acekard, so i'd send him a PM about it or post on one of his threads in the homebrew section.

This isn't the thread you should be posting in, as it's about Wood.

As for the original post.

It's something I've previously suggested

Here's mine:

Both the (B) button and the L trigger go up a directory. You can already use select+L Trigger to change the files displayed, so why not change the L trigger to a shift key?

L+up = enable cheats for this game
L+down = disable cheats for this game
L+left = enable soft reset for this game
L+right = disable soft reset for this game
L+start = Slot-2
L+select = show hidden files
L+X = Copy highlighted file to favourites
L+Y = Settings
L+A = List cheats for this game
L+B = Launch moonshell.nds

Looking through the code, this should be pretty easy for the Y.W.G to implement. Instead having L+B launch MoonShell, you could have it launch a shortcut manually specified in globalsettings.ini. Perhaps in a later revison, that shortcut could also be added to the root menu. With Slot1/Slot2/Favorites, there's still room for one more.

The same suggestion also goes for AKAIO, except adding on the favorites folder as YWG has done.

If I was younger, i'd have a bash at coding it in into Wood myself.
