look here for forwarders and anything else CFG related
------CFG Thread--------

v 3.0:
-added channel loading for real and emu nands
-separate save file location(real emu nand)

-built from latest version on googlecode r 304

bugs with channels:
gui mode will codedump
game options will code dump
have not got covers or downloading them
some channels dont like 249 or 222 (will fix when i can get the game options to work)

well its a start!!!!!

r3 : .dols : Joy_Loader_CFGv3
r3: source : Joy_LoaderCFGv3source

v 2.0:
-able to use with real nand or emunand(Uneek only for now)

cfg68.dol:
-real nand uses 249 as default Cios
-emunand uses 56 as default Cios

cfg68-222:
-real nand uses 222-MLOAD as default Cios
-emunand uses 56 as default Cios

cfg68-UNEEK:
-real nand uses 249 as default Cios
-emunand uses 56 as default Cios

all .dols will work with uneek and real nands

after starting in emunand just press the a button until GUI starts

all known channels and pics for CFG should work with this release(needs tested)
-new v9 forwarder tested Works great!!

TODO:
-still working on adding channels!!
-fix banner sound playing
-?? anything else anyone finds ??

.dols and meta.xml download :: JoyLoaderCFG v2.o

v 1.0:
.dol and meta.xml download ::JoyLoader_CFG V1.0
source download ::JoyLoader_CFG_source

Looking for Pics and Channel Forwarders
Path for forwarder = sd:/apps/JoyLoader_CFG

any help on these would be a great help as i suck at graphics!!

let me know what you all think

Great stuff, is it only uneek or is sneek (sd) supported too ?

Maybe some more details would be good, like what build of cfg is it based on (as they did a lot of changes in the last few versions). Any known bugs ? or anything people should be testing in specific ?

Again, great stuff

sweet, cause i don't like joyflow to much. what iso is it using? i have been playing with uneek, an found sevrel apps that work, plus have uniiloader working, an it sits at iso 253...
great work scooby
evil.gif
and yes the uniiloader has abphrot. support (how ever it's spelled. i flunked english 101.) lol
@slim, it say's " v1.0 cfg. so it's version 1.0 cfg, so i'm sure it has the same bugs, as 1.0. if there are bugs in it.
@scooby, so you want a channel. what about a black an white, since it is a uneek of cfg. or a whole new channel? i'll give it a go.

ok for the questions

it is version 68 or revision 283 the latest on their googlecode site

only uneek for now i will work on getting sneek working with it too

and yeah i suck at making channels and banners and pics so anyone who would like to make these things make them and post them and ill add them to the first post

thanks for the kind words guys

I was happy with joyflow but CFG is my preferred loader. Thx scooby
I hope you can add cover/theme and WBFS support.
BTW, its version 0.67 and not 0.68
great job!
Thx again

cfg usb loader doesn't have those options

on a side note ppl used to make wiiware forwarder iso's with wad2iso that could launch titles but requiring they'd be installed on an emulated nand (possibly also requiting triiforce in the apps folder), hmmm, prolly wouldn't be too hard to modify it to work using mighty channels... hmmm, XFlak PM's Tristar

edit: I should specify I was gonna ask him about that for running the official cfg usb loader off of real nand.

how rude of me not to first say awesome work scoobs! Remind me to get you some scooby snacks, lol. But yea, back to the point, wiiflow doesn't have the option to launch channels either, I think OverjoY added that for JoyFlow, so something similar would prolly need to be added to joyloader_CFG in order for Wiiware & virtual console channels to appear

ya i know cfg don`t have the options for launch channels, i was hoping scooby could be implement that option on joyloader_CFG.

Wow...another uneek loader? Nice work, scooby.

Hmm...this isn't entirely correct.

Wiiflow does have the option to launch channels. It had it for quite a while, now. In any case, long before Overjoy started with joyloader. It wouldn't even surprise me if he didn't had to change any code on that regard.

Both wiiflow and CFG have the ability to run created forwarder iso's created by wad2iso. I've always described these iso's as "equivalents to windows shortcuts", as they do nothing but run triiforce with predefined settings. These predefined settings include pretty much any setting you can choose in triiforce (note: this is triiforce. not _mrc or mighty channels. In fact, Tristar even used an older version of triiforce because it is more stable), but the rule of thumb is: if you can't get your wiiware/VC to run in triiforce, don't even bother attempting to create a forwarder iso for it, because it will fail (hence the shortcut-comparison).
The good thing about this is that you can specify the forwarder iso's to run from real nand as well (which is of course the setting you want to use in uneek). The bad thing is that the forwarder ISO's rely on cIOS to work. And also that I haven't gotten triiforce to work under uneek yet (note: this may have been before I managed to get rev14 on the thing).

All in all...I have my doubts it'll work. wad2iso is a nice way to make it look as if wiiware/VC games are wii games, but on uneek, I think just being able to run channels is a much cleaner solution (this is also because the channel loading thing is so stable in wiiflow/joyflow. I can't remember even a single time when the results of loading a channel in the system menu was different than running that channel in wiiflow or joyflow).

EDIT: I checked out mighty channels a bit. First post states clearly "Requires Waninkoko cIOS rev21 or rev21 d2x (recommended)". Hmm...not exactly the thing you want to read if you're using uneek.

I'd say that before attempting to get wad2iso to support mighty channels, it would be a good idea to actually have mighty channels run on uneek, or it'll just continue to not work.
That's also why I'd recommend just trying to port over the wiiflow code that handles the channel launching rather than this, as this would require coöperation between Joyloader_CFG, Uneek, wad2iso and triiforce/mighty channels. Considering most of these progs weren't aimed at this sort of usage, I doubt it'll work out. And that's not even taking into account that users would have to individually create and install forwarder iso's one by one (which is a much slower process than just using joyflow and already have everything there).

Spot on description of Wad2ISO capabilities Wever

I have often described the ISO's as equivalent to the Windows shortcut's myself when people ask will it make 'such-and-such' game work

It does nothing more than load up Triiforce rev78 and then pass it the parameters you have pre-chosen in the settings

I have not seen much progress with compatibility of Triiforce and, to be honest, don't get much time for playing with the Wii these days

Thanks again scooby for getting cfg to work on uneek.
an to answer the question, does this read wbfs, or disk-x. it reads wbfs files. so you can know use wbfs in uneek. know if i can get crap channels working, it would be sweeter. also i no one knows. if you have uneek on seprate sd card as i do, you can homebrew browser, to the apps folder an use it. been testing (playing) with apps to see what ones work, so far the older apps work. if you want a list i can write one, an yes there might be a couple of surprises on what works. with out moding to work..
ph34r.gif

" here is i guess the first channel, i used the my menufy as the base. its a big one it takes 70 blocks, but running uneek, thats small. used the dol you had at first page, works for me fine. enjoy. "
not enjoying, i got it to load from wad an show as channel. but trying to enter, it freezes. so removed link. if it's freezing on mine, i don't need it to freeze on the ones who download it. i'll fix it an get it to work then repost it. sorry people.
