If I remember correctly and I'm probably not, but I believe .sav files are either encrypted or decrypted, probably the former which makes them incompatible since you would need to decrypt them first.

They're encrypted. But you can use SavDataFiler to decrypt them, using this method: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...v-to-eshop-3ds-3dz-with-savedatafiler.380246/

Export the save, then you can use that exported save with JK Save Manager.

How did you get the .sav might I ask? Is it a backup from a previous time in which you did have one or...?
