Then it's a puzzle, i ran it from my thumbdrive and like i said before, everything else including the normal-@§§ explorerwindow have no readwrite problems whatsoever, there...
So what is the problem exactly? Wrong memory reading was fixed, also the falsely appearing game id dialog (I guess).

Ran into a minor hitch.

Wii u FW 5.5.1

After adding a code, Send Code will stay greyed out. I can't think of anything I did recently to cause it, and I'm using a published code that works.

You have to install the code handler but now this changed so download the newest version. It should always allow sending codes (though, if you did not use the modified TCP Gecko installer it will do nothing).

I was able to poke codes in through the memory viewer, so it's not terribly important now.
Thank you for the heads up on the code handler!

Anyone has good cheats codes for SSB4 to help me finish the game? Like unlimited lives/health... This classic mode 9.0 and all star mode are verry hard to complete! :s

hi, I've been trying to use JGecko U with Twilight Princess HD with no success.

I followed the same steps as DarkFlare in his video and also the ones written here.
I get no errors, and the JGecko connects to my WiiU (5.5.1 EUR) but I can't select "Inject Code Handler".
It also asks me the game title and ID every time, even after "update game titles". The Titles.xml is there.
I'm using the latest JGecko and I have the latest of Java too.
After I add a code and click send, nothing happens.
I'm running Win 10.

Thanks for your help!

Why did you remove the date from the latest update of JGecko?

As far as I can tell there's nothing to indicate what version this is to differentiate from previous or newer builds. I'll test this out later today.

Also if I may ask what is the "proper way" of creating a code?

For example if I wanted 99,999 KOs in Hyrule Warriors do I simply just write 1070F540 0001869F

I also tried setting up my code like this and it still doesnt work
00020000 1070F540
0001869F 00000000

Some people were confused by the date and it's a pain to change it on every update so no more indication besides the latest commit date on GitHub. It serves the same purpose.

JGecko U is throwing HTTP fetch errors when I launch it and when I try to connect to the Wii U.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well, apparently JGecko U is connecting properly. The game name never comes up because I've never downloaded the title database on this computer and wiiubrew.org is returning a 503 error, even in my web browser.

Yes, because they are down. The error doesn't really matter.

JGecko U still asks for Game Name and Game ID with the latest version on every startup. Downloading Title database or entering the correct Name/ID does not help.
