Homebrew jenesisDS problems

i downloaded JEnesisDS v0.7 and i have all the specefications for this as i did in my last topic, patched, .nds file in root, folder in root named roms, with .smd and .bin all compatible. when i load a rom, both smd and bin, the top screen is blank, i can't access anything by tapping or moving. i try to access the settings, but nothing. i have to restart my DSi. any help?
