Is wii emulation possible on the DS?

I mean comon guys super mario galaxy works on wii why the hell wouldn't it work on DS. Super Mario DS is basically the same thing. And why the hell can't the DS have an xbox 360 emulator? Call of Duty World at War works fine on the DS. Man fuck nintendo and fuck microsoft. There should be wii and xbox 360 support on the DS!

Well if you're talking about emulating xbox 360 games to play on the nintendo ds, you're a madman. The ds cannot even dream of being capable of running those games. Its like emulating gba games without a slot 2, it aint gon' happen.

To emulate another system, the host system (Nintendo DS in this case) needs to be about 5-10 times more powerful than the system you're tying to emulate (Wii or Xbox 360 in this case)

That being said, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE, but we probably won't see that kind of backwards compatibility in our lifetime.

Nice thought, though!

Besides, the cost of a Wii or an XBOX 360 are so cheap, why would you want to emulate those systems and lose some compatibility?

scratch that, in about 100 years when technology is smaller, if someone cared enough about those ancient systems, there would probably be a way to cram the 360 hardware in to a handheld device. But not until then will you ever see an actual 360 or Wii game working on a ds. Its just not possible with todays current hardware.

In a 100 years? That's quite a lot. I'd say 10, 15 years max. The PSP emulates the PS1 and is on its way to get a pretty good N64 emulator.
But then again how exactly would you emulate the Wii without a remote?
