Hacking Is trophax definitely safe?

Hey all.
The trophax vita plugin has been out for a while and I've held off from using it up until now due to the risk of being banned. Now 3 years later, there still doesn't seem to be any consensus on whether or not it's safe (in fact all discussion about it is years old). It's on autoplugin 2, so I would assume it's mostly safe, and I don't plan on using it for all my trophies all at once, just a couple of touchy ones I don't feel like completing once every month or so. I would be syncing them though. Can anyone who has used trophax extensively or even a little tell me how safe it is, or know someone who has been banned as a result of using it? Thanks.

Is that the case for the Ps vita specifically are you speaking just about Ps3? People on Reddit were claiming that Sony didn't care about banning on Ps vita and that only 2 people had ever been banned on Vita (both of which were devs). Not trying to argue, I just want to make sure.

hey we just talking buddy not fighting at all hahhaa there has been so many people on Reddit in recent past that hacked trophies & got there accounts banned ..& if you are on the same acc as your ps3 ps4 they will probably effect all .... i got a bit concerned when i use my Ps Vita alot to play my PC Games on the go using Moonlight ... like right now as we have a 80 inch tv in the living room but everyone is playing Last Of US 2 ATM ... .so i Moonlight My PC to Vita ... as im quite addicted to Hunt Showdown this month .............& it shows that on my other friends PS4'S .... & of course Moonlight is a hack app... for what its worth i got banned on my PS3 so many times because of hacking ..but i used a dummy account ..& it had nothing to do with my Vita i'd be careful thats all im saying ....

I can see the appeal in aiming for them as it can offer extra objectives in a game you're already enjoying. However I don't get hacking them. You don't get anything for them and they don't mean anything to you since you know you didn't actually do it. So even if PSN says you have the Plat,etc, you really don't.

Yeah it cheating for sure LOL but you know some people really care about their trophies collection ... a few of my mates do .. but i agree it defeats the purpose as to get some of them takes hardcore dedication and effort ... but you know how it is ... if you feel like it would impress a buddy who might be in competition on trophies scores ... this would beat them easily .. !!!!

It's mainly for the Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, God of War, etc. collections. I've already platinumed them on ps3, and would have platinumed them on ps2 if Ps2 had trophies. I've played through them all start to finish on Vita, but I don't feel like going for 100% in them again for a 3rd (in some cases 4th or 5th) time. I have nothing to prove since I've already platinumed them legit on Ps3, and if they let you sync your saves and trophies with PS3 like the MGS Collection does it wouldn't be a problem. Sure I could always just ignore platinum, but then I have a half completed trophy set for a game I know I can platinum, and that just eats me up inside.

All the discussions on the topic, which I see on the Internet end up with the discussion on the merits of taking trophies or not. Basically nobody should comment on the ethical part or not, because everyone does what they want. But no one answers what we really want to know. Whether it is safe or not to use.

unlock them through here:
user/00/trophy/db/trophy_local.db.

that's probably what it's doing. it's just a cached database, but it's what's synced and what will show up. it probably has time stamps, so be aware of that.

Yes, the question is exactly as the author of the topic said. I am interested in unlocking a maximum of one trophy per month, in games that I have previously unlocked trophies and only linked to history. No online or trophies that are impossible today.
It is in this scenario that I (also) wanted to know if the use is safe.

I have a tutorial on unlocking trophies manually if you don't want to do it through another way. however, I think it's reverted back if you rebuild the database. trophax might be as well.

I've unlocked a trophy of the game Fez in 20/04/2020, haven't been banned yet. It was a single trophy, but i guess if you use the option to unlock all of them, it might get you banned, because it would be impossible to win all trophies at the same time.

Hacking trophies is 50/50 you either get banned or you don't.

If you care about your account, don't hack trophies.
It's as simple as that.

This is old, but I felt like I needed to comment since I didn't really see alot of answers to the question (I saw a whole lot of preening tho).

To be safe, don't unlock a whole game/multiple trophies (unless it makes sense to get multiple trophies at once like when you beat a game on a harder difficulty) under the same timestamp. But I had used trophax on the vita for some annoying trophies to test it (I think it was the Persona 4 Golden one where you need to hear all the random comments), and a handful of other games (like 4-5 other games) and I have not been banned yet. I also mistakenly unlocked all trophies in a game under the same time stamp, and the rest I unlocked while manually picking timestamps. And I did all this at the start of the pandemic (like mid 2020) when I hacked my Vita for the first time and was messing around with a bunch of stuff. Haven't used it since then tho.

In short I would say you are pretty safe doing it on the Vita, as I had not heard of people getting banned on Vita for hacking. But I would say to pick your timestamps when you do this to be safe.
