Hacking Is there any way to play Gamecube Backups on a Black wii?

Is there any? I really need to know. And i dont wanna get a new usb drive or modchip. I just want to play gamecube backups on my black wii. Its modded and its version 4.2e Help?

You don't have much possibilities, you could buy a WODE or another modchip, you could take a look at a sd gecko, if you have a older wii somewhere you could replace the dvd drive with the older one, there are no other ways.

I have one too. The compatibility isn't THAT great. But it's a great and cheap choice since the homebrew/games are run off a SD.

takes more then just replacing the lens,on the newer ones, nintendo also replaced the drive chip so it blocks reading back ups.. so need a wode or a new drive chip... or an older wii with the correct dvd drive.
