Hacking Is there any UWP X-Server or Linux environment on the Xbox One S

Pretty self-explantory in the title. Was wondering if it was even possible, based off the weird processor on the xbox

The processor is normal, it's the hypervisor that likely gets in the way of linux, as well as the locked-down bootloader.

So there's no way to do this on dev mode? I'm thinking maybe some kind of environment in an app.

I *think* jayro was assuming you meant just cold boot into linux.

As for dev mode, I remember getting excited years ago about trying to sideload one of the linux distros from windows store, but then it dawned on me it needs the windows subsystem for linux, which is a dependency you can't really just slap on xbox.

I'm not familiar with a linux emulator for dos, but if it exists, it may be possible to run it under dosbox haha which would be pretty sweet
