I'm sure everyone reading this knows of how you can have an Xbox Series X/S controller paired to both your Xbox and PC at the same time and seamlessly switch between them by just holding down the pair button for one second to connect to the PC and quickly pressing it twice to connect to your Xbox. Well do any of you know if you can do the same (either natively or using 3rd party hardware/software) with a Switch Pro controller?

I don’t know about a tool for the Switch Pro Controller, but there is a battery pack for the Xbox Series controller that adds Switch support to the controller. You could use that to have a controller that will have easily swappable connectivity. Obviously it’s not a Switch Pro Controller, but the functionality you’re after would be there.

What battery pack is that?

Whoops, thought I said the brand lol. It's RetroFlag's SuperPack. I wrote a fairly brief review on it a while back, it's solid:

Ok, thanks for that... should probably mention what the real purpose of this question was. I actually bought a Power A GameCube Switch controller... one of these...

I actually got it for Dolphin Emulator and because I do have a couple of Steam games I just prefer playing with a GC controller. I've already paired this to my PC and it works great... the only thing is unlike an Xbox Series controller it can't tell you what it's battery level is... which for someone like me with diagnosed OCD can be enough to literally make you go insane lol. I researched it as much as i could trying to find a work-around and in the end the only solution there is (as far as I know) is to get a Switch aswell which will show battery level... but I don't want to keep having to manually pair and un-pair it too.

P.S. The reason I put Pro controller (incase you're wondering) is because I read that essentially the Power A GC controller and the Pro controller are the same thing and operate pretty much identically... but the Pro controller is alot more well known so i thought I should just mention that.

Hope all that wasn't too confusing lol.
