I installed homebrew on my sisters wii and they wanted to use dvds on their tv but their tv lacks the ports for the dvd player they have and I tried using wiiflow on the red wii and it gave me an error saying that dvds couldn't be played on the kind of wii... so is there a diffrient app that allow dvd play on the red wii's?

MCPlayer Wii or WiiMC. WiiMC support usb external DVD instead of Wii with new drives (d3-2 or d4). If you have red Wii, it won't play DVDs, because its got a new internal disc drive built in like d3-2 or d4.
