I am using an iedge card with an 8 gb micro sd card in my dsixl. When I put the card in my dsi, about 10 or so roms don't show up on the listing. Is there a maximum number of roms that can be on the flashcart?

Solution
Some flashcards have limitations on how many items the main menu can render at once. Loaders based on the CycloDS interface, such as the one used by the EDGE cards, can display a maximum of 128 items at once (meaning you can have 127 roms in a single folder at most). Storing them in different folders should alleviate the issue.

depends on the capacity of your micro SD
for example: If you have a 128 mb micro sd card you can put 2 64 mb games like Frogger helmet chaos.nds and Lost in Blue, 4 32 mb games like FIFA World Cup Germany 2006, Garfield 2, King Kong, and Mario Kart, 1 128 mb game or 6 16 mb games

Well some flashcarts can only handle a certain number of items/files. But it really depends on your SD card size.
1 GB---at least 1-5 games
2 GB---at least 1-7 games
4 GB---at least 1-10 games
8 GB---at least 1-15 games
32 GB---at least 1-22 games

truth about the nd5 files. i forgot to do that from time to time and it's annoying >:(

outside of that i'd say try deleting 10 roms that you're able to see and seeing if it makes the missing ones visible. if it does you know your card just can't display that many in one menu and might have to make a 2nd folder like fat d said.

@GranolaBar: no idea where you pulled those made up numbers from. my flash kit testing pack (just the nds folder) had 96 games in it and is only 5.30 GB.

when you type your opinions as fact users might be inclined to spread that information. it doesn't help this hobby when incorrect information gets passed around.
