Has anyone ever made an image viewer for the 3DS that works similarly to how Anemone previews themes, but instead functions as an image gallery?

The closest thing I found it's using moonshell 1.7 or moonshell 2.1

Yes, it is possible. You will, of course, need to take the in-game screenshots using the function within the Rosalina menu. To view the screenshots across both screens, as normally happens on the 3DS, you will need two apps from Universal Updater:

• Screenshot Merge: As the name suggests, it merges the separate screenshots of the top and bottom screens that Rosalina saves.
• 3DShell: After using Screenshot Merge, a folder named "screenshots-merged" will be created at the root of your SD card. Access this folder using 3DShell, then navigate into the "luma_new" folder. You can then select the images you wish to view.
