Gaming Is the pokewalker worth it?

Its irrelevant if you want to buy it or not. If you want to buy it you have to buy the game also, Which is exactly what im doing!

Since it looks like EVERYONE has failed to comment on peoples posts about it

The Pokewalker uses a IR chip inside the game cartridge itself, Its just an incentive to by the actual game

This is a game you should buy anyway...
I mean, this IS pokemon Nostalgia here.
IMO the BEST pokemon game generation.

I encourage everyone to buy this and only pirate if they own it XD

I misread that for a moment. I think the tongue sticking out gave me the wrong idea...

The management is well aware of her giving away free stuff. They're also well aware that I've spent a frankly obscene amount of money in their store over the years, so they don't really question it. The manager himself actually gave me my Guitar Hero controller. Brand new wireless guitar in the box with everything including the batteries and the stickers, shoulda cost me about £30, I even asked how much it was and he said to just take it. Probably knowing that once I'd got it all set up and working I'd return with my next wage packet and buy all the Guitar Hero games to go with it. So it's just good business sense, really.

Besides, at no point did I mention her name or the store she works at, so it;s hardly gong to get her into trouble, is it?

I'm not sure gbatemp advocates anti piracy either. However, if they did it wouldn't mean advocating piracy as those who DO own the games should not be denied the right to backup their games. Also indie developers should be interested in anti piracy measures because it effects their access to an artistic medium they paid for.

Aaaaand: You're Cyclo will NOT interface with the pokewalker... you need IR built in the cartridge for that
