I was saying that if I were to buy the 3DS I'd probably get it used since it's cheaper. I don't think there's anything offensive or inherently wrong with that honestly.
I really think the build for most people is very low quality (Loose, squeaky, wobbly, hinges, for most people) I preordered mine and kind of regret not waiting until these problems were fixed. Also the NGP is coming out and the rumored price without 3G is $250. I do think the NGP might be better in some ways. Maybe you'll want to wait and see how the NGP turns out before you buy a 3DS.
coming form someone who has been playing with it since day 1, i say wait.
there really isn't that much games out right now and you'll get bored fast if you don't like the games now. I don't play fighting games that much and i thought that i would be soo into SSFIV because it look really cool. well i barely put an hour into that game and im already bored with it. If you dont really play a certain genre then i think you might get bored with it and there isn't much choices right now. and it's really annoying not having the eshop and stuff out of the box. I say wait until at least May when the update is out. I think june is a great month to buy it when zelda comes out and a lot more games are anounced then to get you hyped =]
the system itself is fun but youll get tired of games like face raiders. i think that app is so boring and doesn't work with 3d when you move around alot. the cameras are pretty fun though and i spent hours on it. wished the cameras are much better though because its usuable in dark areas and can only take decent pics in bright settings.
so yea, wait till may or june =]
oh also, my 3ds is squeaky =[
edit: or if your on the fence with this or a 3ds....maybe wait for the NGP because that looks really cool (interested in the back touch panel)
