I've seen some posts saying the Depth Slider doesn't do anything, just turns on the 3D and off. But if you have used it, does it work well? Does the intensity of it change?

Solution
It's usually pretty helpful. My friend and I notice big changes in pilot wings when it is adjusted. I usually start with it low and gradually increase as I adapt. Low is much easier on the eyes.

Edit: The edit button is the pencil next to post number.

It's different for everything. In most 3DS menus there is a definite gradual increase in turning the 3D up and down. In the new U2 video, however, it's completely binary. Just on or off. I imagine all 3D movies will end up this way.

i believe that everything that is pre-recorded (photos, videos,...) doesn't have 3d-gradations, meaning it's either 3d or 2d...
stuff that's rendered real-time will be able to use the 3d slider...
