is NetCat ok to use?

I was following This guide, and when I typed in "nc.exe -l -p 1234 > savefile.sav" and hit enter,
ThreatFire immediately Quarantined it without even asking me. it said it was a trojan of some kind.

I'm pretty sure it's ok, but I just want to be on the safe side before I let it loose and use it

My old Norton AV said it was a Trojan too.

It should be fine. Just ignore that. Enjoy your Savsender.
