Is my Wiikey a genuine one?

I checked here and mine's the second one (original), but still I want to make sure.

I'm sending it to someone who mods PS2's and stuff. So he needs the instructions for it, can anyone link an easy clear one?

It's fake, real ones are gold plated tough it doesn't matter there is no diffrence at all between real and fake all updates work and future update will work fine

it doesn't really matter. Wiikey is just an atmega chip and a few resistors, nothing special.

Wiikey clones have become very good, but i think you have a fake
original wiikey come with a hologram inside the package
Also the pads are not the same size

I look at wiikeys all day

If you want to give is a clearer picture, that would be great

If its a fake wiikey, that upgrades, you shouldnt really care too much

It does matter how the fuse bytes are set.

I would say it's fake. The R3 text is bigger than the original and the C2 text is closer and to the left of that upper circle like in the first fake photo in the comparison.

My modder has a fake one installed in his wii. (He delibritly used it due to someone needing a REAL one ASAP) and he has had no problems with the fakes.

Your one is fake, sorry mate but it is fake.
No gold rims = fake.
