I disagree. Gateway has a record of producing the features they've promised. MT lied about several release features. As in, nearly all of them. You have to take them on a case by case basis, not just say apples = oranges. Especially considering MT has given no information on their next update, whereas we already have a video demonstration of some of GW's next update features.

It would be nice to be able to say that all flash carts are on the same level, for the sake of driving innovation. Realistically, however, one or two are always going to be well ahead of the rest until the 3DS scene is considerably older.
Gateway promised the final 2.0 update for christmas and it's still not there.
MT-Card has shown working animal crossing new leaf in a video.

Wow I didn't expect so many replies! You've all answered my question and then some. Thanks for all the info.

Personally I will now wait for a good, solid multi-rom cart. Most probably the fabled Gateway 2.0 :)

Animal Crossing starts fine (which it wouldn't if the NAND wasn't detected). They havn't tried to save in the video.

No but another member (in GBAtemp) did and it doesn't save. In fact, MT card has faults in the saving department. (Check the MT card thread to see what I'm talking about)Whereas in Gateway, pokemon is shown to play and save correctly.

Animal Crossing doesn't even boot yet with the MT-Card and I want to hear from more sources that the save issue exists.

They didn't promise. They gave a release window. Delays happen, very often in fact when dealing with complicated programming. Hasn't happened yet =/= isn't going to happen.

Again, you can't take MT's lies and suggest that Gateway is somehow responsible for them or going to do the same thing. Especially when the history of the team completely indicates otherwise. Heck, the content of the videos isn't even the same. MT only showed the game up to its title screen. Gateway showed the player loading a game, thus actually entering the game beyond the title screen, and saving the game in real time.

did people already forget gateway basically delayed the cart from releasing for like 2 months and kept saying its coming out this week every time someone sent them an email
they have been promising that stuff for a long time now along with a new exploit for newer firmwares

If they did promise a new exploit, then that's just silly unless they had already found one. They can't magically make new exploits appear. But I haven't been around long enough to substantiate what you're saying as true. It sounds like a lot of the information people swear by is what Gateway gives out after being repeatedly pestered through e-mail, and not the information they're willing to post to their site as more concrete.
