Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Good day,

I'm running into trouble in attempting to play some burned wii games. I've been able to get some games to work, but most games don't seem to work. I have a Pal system and have only tried PAL games so far, burned on verbatim -R at 4x using IMGburn. My modchip is the Wiic. The problem i have with games like mariokart is that when I try to run the game, I get a black screen and the wii just doesn't respond to anything anymore.

My guess is that this problem is because of my modchip. I've searched the web for a bit and more people had trouble with this game, but they get the 001 error, which is different that mine. So my question is can any of you tell me how to get past this or perhaps link me to a site where this problem is discussed?(I'm sure i'm not the first )
